For materials provided by Acra Aerospace or purchased through Acra Aerospace’s suppliers, the supplier is responsible for verifying 100% of the material using a handheld spectrometer or an equivalent method, as outlined in AS13100 Section 8.5.1.4.1. Proof of verification must accompany the shipment.

If the supplier cannot perform this verification, Acra Aerospace will either visit the supplier’s facility to conduct 100% material verification using a handheld spectrometer and stamp the material certificate before production, or verify the material prior to issuing it. Production must not begin without Acra Aerospace’s spectrometric approval of the material.

Additionally, the supplier must provide a bar end sample from each bar, rod, or plate used in production and include it with the shipment. The total number of bars, rods, or plates used as raw materials must also be documented on the supplier’s Certificate of Conformance (CofC) or a related document.
